Two Los Angeles men who authorities allege may be responsible for a string of bank robberies inside supermarkets were captured Tuesday by the Arcadia police after a holdup.
Devon Trimble, 19, and Quincy Wade Brown, 19, both of Los Angeles, were arrested on suspicion of bank robbery.
They presented a note demanding money at a Downey Savings branch inside a Ralphs market on West Huntington Drive about 10:30 a.m., said Arcadia Police Lt. Gene Gioia.
After getting some money, the pair fled from the market, police said.
They were seen by an Arcadia motorcycle officer who was driving along Rosemead Boulevard near Del Mar Avenue in Pasadena, Gioia said.
The pair were captured after a short chase.
