New Jersey Governor to Speak at Nixon Site

New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman, one of the most prominent women in American politics, will speak this afternoon at the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace.
Whitman, a moderate who has been mentioned as a possible member of the 2000 Republican presidential ticket, will speak at 1:30 p.m. at the library, 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd., Yorba Linda.
She’s expected to discuss issues that will come up in the midterm elections this fall, among other matters.
