Campbell Soup Co. said it’s launching a new unit to sell its food products in shopping malls, fast-food chains, airports and universities. The Camden, N.J.-based company already has free-standing kiosks selling its hot soup, V-8 vegetable juice and Pepperidge Farm cookies and other products at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and Columbia University in New York. Also, starting in November, Campbell’s soup will be on the menu in Long John Silver’s restaurants. The new unit, Campbell Away From Home, will be led by Craig Rydin, currently president of Campbell’s Godiva Chocolatier, as of Oct. 1.
