An Ojai business has raised more than $1,000 in the past week to help relief efforts for Kosovar refugees.
Employees of Tottenham Court Ltd., a gift emporium and restaurant/tearoom, have been collecting money for Doctors Without Borders, a group providing volunteer medical teams to care for refugees.
“People are relieved that there is a place where they can drop off their donation,” said Martin Gewirtz, who plays piano at Tottenham Court and is spearheading the effort.
The company is still accepting cash donations and will also forward money to other relief organizations.
