Re “U.N. Official to Visit Border to Study Plight of Illegal Crossers,” Nov. 24: Mary Robinson, the U.N. high commissioner for human rights, might remind the Mexican officials that it is illegal to cross the U.S. borders without proper paperwork, and the illegal intruders shouldn’t risk their lives by illegally crossing the U.S. borders.
Robinson might start with the current administration working with American companies to build more factories in Mexico creating more jobs. All the illegal crossings would stop.
