Warner Bros. Online Names Vice President

Warner Bros. has promoted Jeff Weiner to vice president of planning, development and administration of the firm’s new venture, Warner Bros. Online.
Weiner helped develop the new-media business, created in 1995. He will oversee financial analysis, strategic planning and business development for the division.
Weiner was senior analyst for Warner Bros. corporate strategic planning and development from 1994 to 1996. He was an analyst with Braxton Associates, a division of Deloitte & Touche, from 1992 to 1994.
He earned a degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
