The city’s Recreation and Community Services Department is offering parents a safe night off with its Kids’ Night Out program on Fridays. Children 5 to 12 may be dropped off at the center and treated to pizza, games, crafts and movies. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. every Friday through April 30.
The fee is $12 for the first child in a family and $8 for each additional sibling if parents pick them up by 10:30 p.m. The fee goes up to $14 for a first child and $10 for each additional sibling if they stay until the 11:30 p.m. closing. Information: (562) 430-1073.
