At Mayor Ruby L. Netzley’s urging, the City Council on Tuesday declined to approve a proposal to restripe Stonehill Drive to create 170 additional parking spaces for Dana Hills High School students. City officials have struggled with finding a solution to the parking situation for nearly three years and still don’t have an answer that pleases everyone, Netzley said. Netzley told the City Council to look for other parking alternatives beyond the several plans for parking on Stonehill Drive.
