The Police Department is undergoing a shortage of permanent and relief crossing guards. Their primary duties include observing and controlling vehicle traffic flow and facilitating safe pedestrian crossings.
Applicants must be 18 or older and provide proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States. An interview, medical examination and state and federal clearance also will be a part of the application process.
The hourly rate for the position is $8.50.
The Police Department is at 3201 Katella Ave.
