Kranhold, Elbaum Part of Irvine Co. Restructuring

In a restructuring of its marketing and public relations departments, the Irvine Co. said Monday that it has promoted Paul Kranhold and hired Richard Elbaum from his communications post at UC Irvine.
Kranhold, 34, of Newport Beach, was promoted to vice president of corporate marketing. Elbaum, 42, of Irvine, was named vice president of corporate communications, replacing Kranhold. Elbaum had been UCI’s vice chancellor for communications for 4 1/2 years.
The restructuring came after Larry Thomas departed in February as senior vice president of corporate communications.
The Newport Beach real estate developer put the communications and marketing departments under W.E. Mitchell, 64, of Newport Beach, as senior vice president of corporate marketing, communications and technology.
