Victim of Fatal Car Crash Is Identified

A motorist who died of injuries suffered in a two-car accident in Fountain Valley on Saturday has been identified as Robert Sanchez, 38, of Huntington Beach.
Sanchez was northbound on Brookhurst Street when he collided with a vehicle making a left-hand turn onto Ellis Avenue about 8 p.m., according to police.
He was taken to Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley, where he was pronounced dead. The two people in the second vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The investigation into the accident is continuing.
