Four Concerts Slated for Community Series

The Side Street Strutters, resident group at Disneyland, will open the 55th North Orange County Community Concerts Assn. series Sept. 21. The swing group will play a program of big-band music at 8 p.m. in the Fullerton First United Methodist Church, 114 Pomona Ave.
The four-concert series will continue at the church Feb. 2, with flutist Debra Reuter-Pivetta and pianist Federico Pivetta; March 8 with Robert Trentham singing songs of the Civil War; and April 17 with pianist Cristiana Pegoraro.
Series subscriptions: $15, students; $35, adults; $85, families. Special “Get Acquainted” admission to one concert, space available, $5-$15.
People who subscribe on or before Wednesday will receive that day’s concert with violinist Linda Wang as a bonus. Subscriptions purchased at the door Wednesday will also receive the bonus program. Wang will play works by Tartini, Bach, Schumann, Massenet and Sarasate. Pianist Sarkis Baltaian will accompany. Information: (714) 535-8925.
