Wide Receivers
The Best
* 1. PETER WARRICK, Florida State, 5-10, 194--Accelerates quickly, makes defenders miss tackles. A true game-breaker.
* Where he’s going:
First round.
2. PLAXICO BURRESS, Michigan State, 6-5, 231--Strong receiver with jumping ability and long arms. One drawback: drops a lot of balls.
* Where he’s going:
First round.
3. TRAVIS TAYLOR, Florida, 6-0, 199--Good route runner who picks up a lot of yards after the catch. Tall and thin, his ability to take a big hit is in question.
* Where he’s going:
First round.
4. SYLVESTER MORRIS, Jackson State, 6-3, 216--Quick accelerator who runs through zones and catches everything thrown near him. If he had played for a top-level school, he’d rank higher.
* Where he’s going:
First round.
5. DEZ WHITE, Georgia Tech, 6-1, 218--Very productive college player with good speed.
* Where he’s going
First round.
