SM&A; Corp. Gets Contract to Provide NASA Software

SM&A; Corp. in Newport Beach said Tuesday it received a two-year, $10.3-million subcontract to provide software development for a NASA system.
Under the contract with Raytheon Systems Co., SM&A; will provide software development for mapping satellite measurements, systems for processing data from U.S. and Japanese instruments, and technical operations at data archive and distribution centers.
The NASA Earth Observing System Data & Information System captures and processes data and provides mission operations for instrument and spacecraft control.
SM&A;’s stock moved up 25 cents to $4.75 a share in Nasdaq trading.
