In celebration of volunteer recognition week, Costa Mesa will team with other organizations Saturday to present this year’s “Neighbors for Neighbors” community and canyon park cleanup from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The spring cleanup will be held at Canyon Park, 970 Arbor St., Costa Mesa. Check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. The neighborhood cleanup will take place at five to seven single-family homes. Volunteer teams will paint, remove weeds and help haul away debris.
Advance registration is required. Lunch will be served. Additional parking will be provided at Whittier Elementary School, 1800 Whittier Ave. Information: (714) 754-4892.
