Fullerton Scores Five in Ninth for 11-10 Victory

Fullerton scored five times in the bottom of the ninth to defeat Riverside, 11-10, in an Orange Empire Conference baseball game Tuesday at Fullerton.

Shaun Brutner singled home Jimmy Zurn from third to cap the five-run rally. Zurn had a bases-loaded double earlier in the inning to tie the game.

In other conference games:

Cypress 7, Saddleback 6--Kevin Snapp had a home run and double, with an RBI and a run scored and Brandon Luna struck out six in relief for host Cypress (24-7, 11-6).

Vinnie Valiente had two solo home runs for Saddleback (18-11, 7-10).

Orange Coast 11, Golden West 9--The Pirates broke a 4-4 tie in the fourth inning, scoring seven runs, capped by Ryan France’s three-run homer, en route to the victory at Golden West.
