* Boston Acoustics Inc. said President Fred Faulkner Jr. quit, and the maker of stereo and computer speakers will take a $500,000 charge against its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings for his resignation. The Peabody, Mass.-based company said Faulkner is leaving to pursue other opportunities. A replacement wasn’t named. Officials couldn’t be reached for further comment.
