Novice and expert bird watchers will be given the opportunity to locate an array of species during a free two-hour tour at the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Birds reported to be found in the refuge inside the Naval Weapons Station include the great blue heron, snowy egret, California brown pelican and Savannah sparrow.
Tours are scheduled for the last Saturday of every month. Information: (562) 626-7215.
