Warning signs remain posted at three local beaches after recent rain runoff increased bacteria.
Signs warning of high levels of enterococcus and fecal coliform are posted at Doheny State Beach, Capistrano County Beach and Baby Beach.
A bacteria level of 10,642 organisms of enterococcus per 100 milliliters of water was recorded last week at Doheny State Beach. The acceptable level is 104 on any given day.
Water quality testing is done on a weekly basis.
