In last week’s meeting, the City Council voted to increase the size of Podacarpus trees used in the La Palma Avenue median improvement project.
Twenty-one trees will be planted in the newly constructed median on La Palma between Moody and Walker streets. Purchase of the larger trees will increase the cost of the $240,282 project by $5,250.
