Jackson Speaks Out on Louisville Police

Speaking to several thousand protesters in the rain, civil rights activist Jesse Jackson said he would press for congressional hearings to look into police behavior in Louisville, Ky. Jackson said the Louisville Police Department’s recent decision to honor two officers who in 1999 shot to death Desmond Rudolph, an unarmed black motorist, showed the need for federal authorities to investigate the conduct of police in the city.
