GolfGear International Inc. said Monday it has completed its purchase of Bel Air Golf Cos. in a stock transaction valued at $400,000. It also assumed $50,000 in debt.
GolfGear, based in Garden Grove, said in a news release that it bought its Fountain Valley competitor largely because it wanted Bel Air Golf’s junior golf club line, which sells under the Player’s Golf brand name.
GolfGear said it expects the new division to generate at least $1 million in sales this year.
