GARDEN GROVE

Applications are being accepted through May 5 for the summer slow-pitch softball season in Garden Grove. The city’s Community Service Department is accepting rosters for men’s, women’s and coed teams on a first-come, first-serve basis. A $425 fee per team includes awards, one official per game, game balls, lights and field maintenance. Rosters are limited to 16 players, 18 years or older and fee payment is due at registration. A mandatory manager’s meeting will be held May 18 at 7 p.m. in the community meeting center’s Constitution Room, 11300 Stanford Ave. Information: (714) 741-5214.
