The Costa Mesa provider of home health care services and home medical equipment reported first-quarter net income of $12.8 million, or 24 cents a share, down from $15.6 million, or 30 cents a share, for last year’s quarter. Pro forma net income, reflecting a fully taxed basis at a 42% effective tax rate, was $9.3 million, or 18 cents a share. Quarterly revenue rose to $250.7 million from $228.3 million.
