Developer Rancho Santa Margarita Joint Venture is proposing to create an urban village incorporating the existing commercial Town Center on Santa Margarita Parkway and El Paseo, with a mix of additional theaters, restaurants, shops and office buildings.
The plan calls for the construction of a cinema with 2,800 seats, seven restaurants with a total of 40,900 square feet and nine retail buildings that would combine for 37,100 square feet. The developer will also build a 25,000-square-foot retail building for a single large retail store.
