No. 1 Santa Margarita 4, Bellflower St. John Bosco 1--Midfielder Spencer George scored two goals for Santa Margarita (14-1-3).
In the Century League:
Santa Ana Valley 4, Orange 2--Orange tied the score, 2-2, early in the second half, but Michael Necoechea scored two goals in the last 10 minutes for Santa Ana Valley (10-8, 1-1). Oscar Duenas scored two goals in the first half for the Falcons.
In the Empire League:
Katella 2, Century 1--Ben Solis scored both goals, including the game-winner in the 67th minute for Katella (10-6, 1-1). Katella had a 1-0 lead at halftime but saw that disappear when Guy Sandoval tied the score in the 43rd minute for Century (4-5-2, 1-1).
In the Freeway League:
Buena Park 1, Sonora 0 (OT)--Buena Park (4-9-1) won when Elder Najera scored on a rebound three minutes into overtime.
In the Garden Grove League:
Santiago 1, Rancho Alamitos 0--Geraldo Montano scored in the 55th minute for Santiago (9-3-3, 2-0-2).
In the Orange League:
Valencia 2, Western 0--Luis Perez scored in the 42nd minute and Julio Saucedo scored in the 68th minute for Valencia (5-6-1, 1-0).
In the Sea View League:
Irvine 5, Aliso Niguel 2--Forward Matt Taylor paced Irvine (7-1-3, 1-0-1) with five goals, giving him 29 this season.
In the South Coast League:
Dana Hills 1, Trabuco Hills 0--Rick Ekstein’s throw-in skipped off the goalkeeper and into the net 4 1/2 minutes into the game for Dana Hills (6-7-2, 1-1).
Mission Viejo 3, No. 10 Capistrano Valley 1--Ben Squirrell, Alpy Turna and Will Beard scored goals and goalkeeper Jeff Taylor had six saves, including one on a penalty kick, for Mission Viejo (2-0 in league).
In the Sunset League:
No. 5 Edison 3, Los Alamitos 0--Tim Trout, Danny Collins and Jeff Kinkoff each scored a goal for Edison (10-2-1, 2-1).
Esperanza 1, No. 3 Huntington Beach 0--Luke Sargent made two saves in the last three minutes to clinch the victory for Esperanza (11-4-3, 1-2). Steve Hively scored the winning goal in the 20th minute for the Aztecs. Huntington Beach is 1-2 in league.
No. 2 Fountain Valley 5, Marina 0--Aaron Siemers, Cliff McKinley, Matt Desmond, Ryan Lancaster and Drew Tolman scored and goalie Kyle Polak earned his eighth shutout for Fountain Valley (12-1-1, 3-0).
