Prince Plans to Study on His 18th Birthday

Prince William planned to quietly celebrate his 18th birthday today, while the other British royals gather for a big family party to mark a number of summer birthdays, including that of the Queen Mother, who turns 100 in August. William, the elder son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, had said he would spend the day studying for exams, missing the bash being thrown at Windsor Castle--even though it was being held on his actual birthday.
