The Swedish American fraternal organization Vasa Order of America, Lodge 719, will have a hyttsill celebration tonight at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 24231 El Toro Road.
The event will include a candlelight dinner with traditional salted herring, salted pork, sausage, baked potatoes, lingonberry preserves and curd cake with strawberry preserves. There also will be accordion music, singing and storytelling. Tickets are $12 for adults; $8 for children under 13. The celebration will begin at 6:30 p.m.
