The Capistrano Unified School District recently approved spending $400,000 on school repairs, using funds generated by a bond issue voters approved in November.
Trustees earmarked $225,000 to hire a general contractor to do masonry repairs and other work throughout the district. San Clemente High School’s door hardware will be replaced at a cost of $100,000. As much as $75,000 will be spent on districtwide rodent-control services.
