The League of Women Voters of North Orange County will meet Saturday to discuss the Brown Act. The discussion will cover questions on how open government is, what is not legal and the role of citizens in keeping government open and accountable. League members believe the public needs to be aware of whether it is being excluded by public bodies when decisions are made. The meeting is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Children’s League Community Room, at Valencia Mesa and Youth Way. Information: (714) 879-1782.
