SAN CLEMENTE

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department and the San Clemente Track Club will co-host a track meet for children 5 to 15 on Sunday at Bernice Ayer Middle School.

Events will include several foot races ranging from 50 to 1,600 meters, relays, a softball throw and a standing long jump.

Children will be divided into age groups, and winners will receive prizes.

Registration for the four-hour track meet will begin at 11:30 a.m. There is no cost to participate.
