Five of the six starters who sat out Kilpatrick’s 20-12 victory over Pasadena Marshall on Saturday for disciplinary reasons will be back in the lineup Saturday night against Village Christian at Kennedy.
But running back Jeremy Hartsfield could sit out another game, said Co-Coach Scott Faer.
Kilpatrick (4-4, 2-0) defeated L.A. Baptist, 60-44, in an Alpha League game on Oct. 20. But the Mustangs had to come from behind to defeat Marshall (3-5, 0-3) without Hartsfield and other suspended players Xavier Franklin, Matthew Carter, Kevin Watkins, Larry Brooks and Anthony Brooks, no relation.
Hartsfield, who has rushed for 815 yards and 14 touchdowns in 76 carries, was also suspended for the first three games of the season.
