St. Genevieve 8, Cantwell Sacred Heart 6--David Gonzalez rushed 14 times for 48 yards and a touchdown for the Valiants in a Santa Fe League game at North Hollywood High.
Gonzalez scored with 11:48 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Javier Cisneros rushed 19 times for 61 yards and a two-point conversion on a run up the middle that gave St. Genevieve (4-4, 1-1) its winning points.
The Valiants held the Cardinals to a 140 yards in the second half, with sacks from Leo Solis and Matt Ramos.
Bryan Perumean scored on a 10-yard run late in the second quarter for the Cardinals (1-8, 1-1).
