Caribbean Trade Expo Begins Friday

A 10-day Los Angeles Caribbean-Latin American Expo begins with a two-day conference and trade show Friday and Saturday on the Trade and Development Act of 2000, which enhances benefits to U.S. companies pursuing new markets in the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa.
The event is co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce/LA Trade, the Guatemalan Trade and Investment office and Marikel Productions. In addition to trade issues, the conference will address social and community issues in the Caribbean region.
