North County Gets Half an Inch of Rain
Nearly a half-inch of rain fell in Ojai Tuesday, while the rest of the county remained mostly dry and windy.
A light rain was continuing to fall in Ojai and Fillmore late Tuesday, and the National Weather Service in Oxnard was calling for a 50% chance of spotty showers throughout the county today.
“The front came in early and stayed to the north,” said Curt Kaplan, a federal weather specialist.
If rains do come today, Kaplan said they will ease up by tonight and clear out by Thursday. The snow level was expected to fall to 6,000 feet Tuesday night.
