The Brea Community Center is offering after-school activities this year with its Afterschool Program from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 695 Madison Way.
The program seeks to provide activities and a positive environment for students in grades seven through 12.
Only planned activities such as indoor sports, special presentations and excursions require sign-ups. The fee is $5 for an activity card.
The Community Center also offers the Homework Club with trained staff to provide help from 4:30 to 6 p.m. for students in grades one through six. Those interested can pay $5 a visit or purchase a 10-visit pass for $30.
After students finish their homework, they can relax, watch videos or play quiet table games. For more information on both programs, call (714) 990-7179.
