At Least 50 Reported Killed in Bus Ambush

Gunmen in northwestern Angola fired a missile at a passenger bus and then sprayed it with gunfire, killing at least 50 people, including several children, news reports said.
The attack occurred Friday, Roman Catholic radio station Ecclesia said, citing local police. Many bodies were charred or blown to pieces, making a victim count difficult.
No one has claimed responsibility, but UNITA rebels or bandits are thought to have carried out the attack near Malanje, 250 miles east of the capital, Luanda.
Earlier this month, National Union for the Total Independence of Angola rebels killed about 250 people in a refugee train ambush.
