Walt Disney
Walt Disney Co. named Alan Braverman, 53, as deputy general counsel of the Burbank entertainment giant. He has been executive vice president and general counsel of Disney-owned ABC Inc. and will continue to hold that position.
HomeBase
Thomas F. Gallagher has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of HomeBase Inc. He will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Herbert Zarkin.
Gallagher, who most recently served as executive vice president of store operations, also has been elected to the Irvine-based company’s board of directors, expanding the board to eight members from seven.
Gallagher, 49, will continue to oversee store operations for the company’s 42 new House2Home home-decorating superstores, but will take on the responsibility of directing additional areas of the company’s day-to-day operations, including merchandising, marketing and logistics.
Zarkin will continue in his role as chairman and chief executive officer.
Rexhall Industries
Rexhall Industries Inc. has appointed Dawn Diaz as chief financial officer. She had been working as a consultant for the Lancaster-based motor home manufacturer.
A certified public accountant, Diaz is a former financial executive at Bertelsmann Services Inc. and KPMG International.
