A suspect in two Ventura County bank robberies in the past three weeks struck again Wednesday, federal officials said.
The man walked into Goleta National Bank in the 1400 block of Victoria Avenue about 12:30 p.m., passed a note demanding money to a teller and fled on foot with an unspecified amount of cash, said FBI Special Agent Brett Robbins.
The man is wanted in an Aug. 10 robbery at American Commercial Bank in Ventura and an Aug. 22 heist at California Federal Bank in Oxnard.
The man was heavily built, white, between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet tall and wearing a blue fishing hat and glasses. Anyone with information should call the FBI’s Ventura office at 642-3995.
