Husband Agrees to Take Polygraph Test

The husband of Jana Carpenter-Koklich of Lakewood, though not considered a suspect in her disappearance, tentatively agreed Wednesday to take a polygraph test, authorities said.
Bruce Koklich reported his wife missing Aug. 21. On Monday, her Nissan Pathfinder was found in a garage in Signal Hill. Her keys were still in the ignition and her cellular phone was in the car, Deputy Faye Bugarin said.
Three unidentified teenagers had been seen earlier joy riding in the vehicle, Bugarin said. It’s not clear whether they are suspects in her disappearance, Bugarin said.
Carpenter-Koklich, 41, is the daughter of former California Sen. Paul Carpenter (D-Cypress).
