From Times Wire Reports
The judge in the case of a University of Wyoming student charged in the deaths of eight fellow students was asked by the defense to throw out a blood-alcohol test.
Clint Haskins, 21, is accused of being drunk when his pickup truck collided with a Jeep, killing eight members of the university cross-country and track teams.
A test taken afterward allegedly showed his blood-alcohol level was above Wyoming’s legal limit.
Haskins, of Maybell, Colo., is scheduled to stand trial Feb. 25 on eight counts of aggravated vehicular homicide.
