A military prosecutor is seeking the death penalty for a Jordanian with U.S. citizenship who is accused of conspiring to attack U.S. and Israeli targets during millennium celebrations.
Raed Hijazi, 32, has pleaded innocent to nine charges, including conspiring to attack foreigners and tourist sites in Jordan.
Lt. Col. Mahmoud Obeidat said Hijazi had confessed to planning terrorist attacks and that he received training in Afghan camps run by Osama bin Laden.
