Police Seek Suspect in Rash of Robberies

Detectives are trying to find a suspect in connection with 17 armed robberies of supermarkets, restaurants and stores in the San Fernando Valley between Oct. 4 and Dec. 20, police said.
Police described the man as white, with blond or brown hair, between 30 and 40 years old and between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet tall. Police said he has a crew cut and a rough complexion and has been seen driving a silver pickup truck.
