From Times Wire Reports
A 19-year-old student was found slain at the nation’s only college for the deaf, Gallaudet University, the second homicide in the same dorm in five months, police said.
The body of Benjamin Varner of San Antonio was found on the fourth floor of Cogswell Hall after a fire alarm was pulled. An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death.
Police said they believe there is no connection to September’s death of freshman Eric Plunkett, 19, of Minnesota, who was beaten in his dorm room.
