NORTH HILLS — A school bus was struck Tuesday by a pickup truck driven by a suspected drunk driver, the California Highway Patrol said.
A passenger in the truck suffered minor injuries, but there were no injuries to any of the 46 students or the bus driver, the CHP said.
Alan Morris, 34, of Granada Hills, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, CHP Officer Ray Abramian said.
The Los Angeles Unified School District bus was stopped at Plummer Street and Woodley Avenue when the truck hit it from behind about 2:30 p.m., Abramian said. The traffic lights were not operating due to a weather-related power outage, he said.
