Notre Dame 7, Arcadia 4--Kimmy Hengsteler scored 23 seconds into the fourth quarter to break a 4-4 tie and help the Knights to a come-from-behind victory in a Division III opener at Valley College.
Notre Dame (13-5) trailed, 3-1, at halftime, but Sammy Zuckerman scored her second, third and fourth goals of the game in the third quarter to tie the score, 4-4.
Tricia Prudencio scored on a power play with 4:48 left in the game to give the Knights a 6-4 lead and Zuckerman added her fifth goal with 2:19 remaining. Zuckerman, a junior, has a school-record 68 goals this season.
