Looking for a piece of clubland action? Here are some new adventures sure to whet your wah-wah whistle, with key nights noted:
* Beauty Bar (1638 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood, [323] 464-7676). Fun nightly, with rock ‘n’ roll deejays. 21 and older. No cover.
* Blue (1642 Las Palmas Ave., Hollywood, [323] 268-7828 or [323] 462-7442) Hot new Friday, hosted by Bolthouse Productions.
* Burgundy Room (1621 Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood, [323] 465-7530). Deep dark bar’s been around a while, but it’s core to the scene, especially on Thursdays and Fridays, when DJ Loomis spins punk rock trash. 21 and older. No cover.
* Daddy’s (1610 N. Vine St., Hollywood, [323] 463-7777). A no-muss, no-fuss nightly hang. 21 and older. No cover.
* Deep (1707 N. Vine St., Hollywood, [323] 462-1144). Fridays and Saturdays it’s a disco inferno. 21 and older. Cover varies.
* Fuel (1645 Wilcox Ave., Hollywood, [323] 962-7712). Adding Fuel to the Hollywood fire nightly. Bingo Mondays are a must. 21 and older. No cover.
* Hotel Cafe (1623 1/2 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood, [323] 461-2040). Super-cool new coffeehouse with neo-beatnik entertainment. Open daily 11 a.m.-4 a.m. All ages.
* Las Palmas (1714 N. Las Palmas Ave., Hollywood, [323] 464-0171). The only place to be on Wednesdays for stars and stargazers alike. Also, Thursdays offer Tonic, a hot, new gay night. 21 and older. Cover varies.
* Pretty Ugly Club at Dragonfly (6510 Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood, [323] 466-6111). The only place to be on a Wednesday for rockers and rock-gazers alike. Also, Dayle Gloria’s Sunday night is a rock fiesta. 21 and older. Cover varies.
* Sunset Room (1430 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood, [323] 463-0004). Upscale supper club angling for upscale crowd. New cool night is Wednesday, with Barbara Morrison’s jazz band performing in main dining room. 21 and older. Cover varies.
* Vynyl (1650 Schrader Blvd., Hollywood, [323] or [213] 896-9090). Fridays host glam rock super club Cherry. Sham, the new club promotion on Saturdays, brings a big crowd. 21 and older. Cover varies.
