* Re “China’s Religious Repression Imperils All,” Commentary, Dec. 29: Elliott Abrams lecturing the Chinese on human rights? The same Elliott Abrams who as assistant secretary of State under Reagan implemented the deportation of Central American refugees (in direct violation of the Refugee Act of 1980) back to their American-financed, right-wing, paramilitary death squad governments to face further persecution and “disappearances”? The hypocrisy is about to make me sick.
