LONDON — Starting Aug. 4, tourists visiting Buckingham Palace will be given a rare chance to stroll through the royal family’s garden, the palace announced. It is the first time the garden path will be included with the regular tour of state rooms.
The 1,485-foot walk is along the south side of the garden, home to 30 types of birds and scores of wildflower species.
The palace tours, which are offered annually, close after Sept. 30.
