JetHawks Lose to Lake Elsinore

Troy Schaeder had a run-scoring single in the fifth inning and added a two-run home run in the seventh to lead the Lake Elsinore Storm to a 7-4 California League victory over the JetHawks on Saturday night at the Hangar.
The JetHawks (22-20) defeated Lake Elsinore, 2-1, on Friday, but the Storm hasn’t lost consecutive games since the first month of the season.
Lake Elsinore (31-11) took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a home run by former California standout Xavier Nady. Starter Jake Peavy (4-2) struck out six in 5 2/3 innings.
Lancaster tied the score, 3-3, in the fourth inning.
Matt Kata, Billy Martin and Jeff Waldron had run-scoring hits for the JetHawks.
Right-hander Andrew Good (4-2) struck out eight in 6 2/3 innings for Lancaster. He scattered eight hits.
Martin lifted his total to 37 runs batted in, second in the Cal League.
